Paris 2015
  • In 2015 Promemoria wanted to celebrate ten years of its presence in Paris and the collection "Dix ans Paris" was created for this anniversary. For the occasion the emblematic pieces of the Maison have been reinterpreted: the furniture and lamps pay homage to these ten years of Promemoria Parisian creativity.

Luxurious materials

"Dix ans Paris", made with rare and luxurious materials, highlights the best savoir-faire of the master cabinetmakers and the artisans of Promemoria who make every piece of furniture like a work of art. Bronze is one of the main materials of the collection, accompanied by other noble materials such as slate and Carrara marble.

Features of the collection

Many Promemoria furniture pieces were reproposed for this important anniversary. The multiple Ketoj, a bronze casting that is at the same time a small table, a stool and a shelf, like a sculptural trompe-l'oeil reproduces veins and knots of a tree trunk, all in chiaroscuro. Also in bronze are the structure and the original grills of the Boccaccio armchair, so attractive with its geometric volumes.

Like the shadow that traces the shape of the object to which it belongs, the slate discs of the Pia lamp draw the contours of the original model covered in leather or wood.

The bestseller Battista, a folding table, is here made of aluminum - the first time ever for Promemoria - and arabesque on the top. As in a game of contraries, the lighter material, aluminum, well suited for a folding table, opposes the heaviest and most precious marble of the Bassano dining table, animated by the curved and horizontally spliced shape of the column that holds the top.

The Mademoiselle Tecla sideboard is dotted with stars and crossed by waves, both made with the ancient technique of ground casting of molten bronze. The Macassar ebony wood cabinet, treated with warm beeswax, is covered with fabric inside, illuminated by LEDs when the doors are opened.
